"Castle and Castle" is Nigeria's first legal drama series, produced by Ebonylife TV,
starring Richard Mofe-Damijo  and Dakore Egbuson-Akande.
The series follows the story of a married couple, ‘Remi Castle’ and her husband ‘Tega ’ – two lawyers who run a successful practice in Lagos. They met 20 years ago when he taught her in law school.
About legal drama series "Castle and Castle"
A former law professor, ‘Tega’ is passionate about human rights. However, as the years have gone by and the nature of the firm has changed, he has had to fight extra-hard to get such cases.
‘Remi’ is a beautiful, brilliant woman who loves her husband, but they have different legal interests – she prefers clients that have deep pockets and pay massive retainers.
Their marriage is put to the test, as a host of family issues crop up and affect their work.
"Castle and Castle" will take viewers through their lives and they band together against outsiders and fight each other when their individual desires clash.
Will their marriage survive or will it succumb to the pressures of their work environment?

The series will be exclusive to EbonyLife TV, which has been home to series such as
"Desperate Housewives Africa," "Fifty The Series,"  "Dere," "Sons of the Caliphate" and
"The Governor."

LAGOS ANNOUNCES MOVEMENT RESTRICTION AROUND OSHODI FROM SUNDAY JULY 1ST

The Lagos State Government has announced that there will be partial vehicular restriction around the Oshodi flyover to enable speedy construction of the Oshodi transport interchange that is ongoing.
Mr. Ade Akinsanya, the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure in Lagos in a statement released to the effect said: “The flyover would be completely closed in the direction of Anthony to the Airport, while the motorists (in both directions) would now make use of the second carriageway, that is, the one in the direction from the Airport to Oshodi to Anthony.
“We encourage individuals and groups that may have cause to use the network of roads and bridges passing through or linking Oshodi and its environs to be alert to disruptions and danger associated with the movement of heavy steel and equipment.”
It is believed that the construction has reached a critical state and structural steel are ready to be mounted for the Skywalk bridge.
The restriction will take effect from 10pm on Sunday, July 1, to 5am on Monday, July 2, 2018.

Popular big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Lolu has just launched his vlog titled “Chronicles of Lolu”.
Lolu wrote about the series, via his twitter and Instagram page. He wrote:
“#ChroniclesOfLolu was conceived as a result of positive feedback on my diary sessions during my time in the BBNaija house. It is directed at sharing my thoughts and opinions on social, personal issues & entertainment to mention a select few.
Those memorable times have given me the platform to birth this. I am truly thankful
#ChroniclesOfLolu will aim to answer questions on social media from #LoluForce and everyone else. It’s purpose will be to educate, inspire and motivate. If you sent questions in – you just might have answers to them soon!
#ChroniclesOfLolu will have 12 episodes in its first season, produced in collaboration with #LoluForce Media Cluster and directed by Alte studios. This will be shared on a dedicated Youtube channel every Thursday evening.
Lolu who has already released episode one, discussed dealing with Societal Stereotypes in it and he answered some personal questions.

FRANCE PRESIDENT, EMMANUEL MACRON, SET TO VISIT FELA’S SHRINE

French president, Emmanuel Macron is set to visit the popular Fela Shrine next week. The president will be doing this, as he prepares to open the new-look Alliance Francaise facility in Lagos.
President Macron is expected to open the magnificent Alliance Francais building, which is located in Ikoyi on the next day after his visit to the Afrika Shrine.

Emmanuel Macron is expected to arrive Abuja on Tuesday and head to Lagos after a brief visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential Villa.
According to reports, the French President would be hosted at the Shrine by Trace Tv.
The Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, will also be available to guide the visiting president, using the occasion to promote Tourism in Lagos.
President Macron is set to experience Afrobeat music at the shrine.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and new mother turned 34 today and her famous family is marking the occasion with some touching posts. Kim Kardashian West took to Instagram and shared a sweet photo of her and Khloe sitting side by side on a couch, and in the birthday girl’s lap sits both her newborn daughter, True, and Kim’s daughter, Chicago.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde invited to join Oscar voting academy

Veteran Nollywood actress , Omotola Jalade -Ekeinde , popularly known as ‘Omosexy’ was on Monday invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science popularly known as the Oscars .
News Agency of Nigeria reports that Omosexy is listed among the record -breaking 928 members to be admitted this year .
The Academy invites notable industry professionals ranging from Actors to Writers , and two categories , Members -at- Large and Associates to accommodate individuals who have no defined branches in motion picture .
It is the world ’ s pre -eminent movie related organisation , comprised of over eight thousand accomplished men and women working in cinema .
Academy membership is limited to film artists working in the production of theatrically -released motion pictures .

According to the list, Omotola ’s invitation stemmed from the recognition she got in the 2010 romantic drama ‘A Private Storm ’ and the 2012 thriller ‘Last Flight to Abuja ’.

The game started with Lionel Messi's goal at  first half,  when he took Ever Banega's pass into his path and finished coolly, but we equalize when Javier Mascherano was penalised for grappling with Leon Balogun in the box. Our very own Victor Moses equalised from the penalty spot at second half.

With the game level at 1-1 with five minutes of normal time remaining we thought, we  were heading through as Group D's second-placed side with desperation from the Argentina's side, but Manchester United defender Rojo had different ideas.

He waltzed into the penalty area to meet Gabriel Mercado's cross and volley an unstoppable effort into the bottom corner, giving them a lead over us.
