AMAA 2012 WINNERS LIST - RITA DOMINIC WINS BEST ACTRESS



On 22nd April, the 2012 African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) too place at the New Expo Hall, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island Lagos. In attendance was Hollywood Stars, Lynn Whitefied, Maya Gilbert and Morris Chestnut as they mingled with Nollywood and Gollywood finest.


As always, the red carpet photos were all amazing as celebrities all came out looking stunning in their glamorous gowns and refined suits.


The big winner of the night was Charlie Vundla’s How To Steal 2 Million with five awards. It picked won for Best Film, Best Director, Supporting Actor (Rapuldna Seiphemo), Supporting Actress (Terry Phetto) and Editing. Majid Michael Ghana, won Best Lead Actor (Somewhere in Africa)  and Rita Dominic Nigeria, won Best Lead Actress (Shattered).

Achievement in Visual Effects - Adesuwa (Victor Ehi-Amedu)

Achievement in Sound - State of Violence (South Africa Jim Petrack)

Achievement in Cinematography - Otel Burning (Lance Gewer)
