The 8th season of Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) will be taking place on the 22nd of April 2012 in Lagos and as we anticipate this date, the nomination list has been officially announced and yours sincerely had no choice but to blog these categories.
Coming with 13 nominations is Sara Bletcher’s ‘Otelo’ including best firm. Also Lancelot Imasuen ‘Adesuwa’is coming with 10 nomination including Best film, Best director and Best Nigerian film.
Other Nigerian films with an impressive showing include Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Phone Swap’, ‘Unwanted guest’ and the Nigerian/South African collabo ‘Man on ground.’
