Nigerian Rapper Ice Prince and SA Model Bonang Matheba To Host Channel O Awards 2012


The 9th annual Channel O Music Video Awards will be hosted by Nigerian Rapper Ice Prince And South African Model Bonang Matheba. Brought to you by DStv and DStv Mobile.

‘Bonang and Ice Prince will bring their unique individuality when hosting Africa’s most prestigious music awards’.

“Hosting an awards ceremony of this magnitude is a first for me and a great honour. The Channel O Music Video Awards will be broadcast to over 40 African countries so you can only imagine how excited I am. I’m really honoured to be part of it; this year’s show is going to be massive. The production and execution is going to blow our guests away. So let’s meet on Saturday 17, November at 20:00 as we take Africa to the future,” says Bonang.

The song, featuring Brymo, saw Ice Prince win Most Gifted Newcomer Video at the 8th Annual Channel O Music Video Awards – and his current chart-toppers “Superstar” and “Magician (Remix)” featuring Gyptian have seen the artist earn a nomination for Most Gifted Hip Hop Video as well as Most Gifted Ragga Dancehall Video, respectively this year.

The awards will hold on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, Soweto.
