EMOTIONAL GOLDIE; GAME ON

Goldie broke down in tears after an intense heart to heart session with Prezzo . The Nigerian celeb was screaming, crying and vomiting when Maneta  heard her cries and rushed into the girls' room to find a devastated Goldie crouched on the floor.
After Maneta called out for help, Zainab came rushing in too and the two tried to help her off the floor but Goldie told them off. She uttered “I am ok, I am ok. Just get out of here,” while gasping for air and struggling to breathe.

The singers frantic state of mind was spurred on by the rude awakening she got moments before from Prezzo about the status of their relationship. The poor woman could not hide her sheer disbelieve when the Kenyan coldly told her that they were "just good friends".

She sat on his bed with tears streaming down her face repeating over and over again "just good friends, just good friends,"while shaking her head.

The latest installment of drama in the Prezzo/Goldie
saga started over a disagreement about cigarettes which led to the rapper feeling disrespected. He gave her a harsh warning: “Don’t mistake my kindness for weakness. I am not weak.” Goldie begged repeatedly for his forgiveness but Prezzo remained unresponsive even as she ran out to go cry in her room.

Meanwhile in the lounge the Upville ladies gave their two cents on the situation. Maneta and Barbz implied that Goldie had herself to blame for Prezzo being harsh to her because she ignored him for most of today after she has let him get used to being cooked for and taken care off over the past few weeks.

What to do you make of the Prezzo/Goldie saga, will their relationship survive after this?

AFTER THE TWO WEEKS STRIKE WHAT NEXT?

With The Federal Government's announcement yesterday that there would be no going back on the decision to rename University of Lagos as Moshood Abiola University, what's next for the students and stakeholders of the Institution?

The Federal Government through the Minister of Information, Labaran Maku has said that it will not revert its decision of renaming University of Lagos after Chief M.K.O Abiola. Despite protests from the students and staff of the institution, Maku said there would be no going back on the decision to rename University of Lagos as Moshood Abiola University in honour of the late winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election.

Addressing State House correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja yesterday, the Minister said the President’s proclamation was in response to the outcry of concerned Nigerians who have been clamoring for the immortalization of late Abiola. He called on Nigerians not to allow the protests by some students to overshadow the significance of the president’s decision to immortalize Abiola.

“Yes sometimes government decisions get reactions from the populace, we do not as an administration see this as a disapproval. We just see it as a normal way in every democracy that when you make major decisions definitely sometimes you have public reaction but we should not allow the protest to overshadow the national significance of what Mr. President has done.”
He added that the decision has been long overdue and that today, Abiola can turn in his grave and say this nation for whom I made a supreme sacrifice for political development has recognized my contributions.
“It is our hope that reason will prevail and that the decision to honor one of our nations’s icons and heroes will be appreciated by all Nigerians including our youths and students who are the future leaders of this country” he said.

With this hard held stance of the Federal Government against the reversal of the President’s decision, it is wondered whether the protests are not just in vain.

The University was shut down yesterday following protests by students, staff and alumni of the institution. They blocked major roads in Lagos including the Third Mainland Bridge, calling on the Federal Government to reverse the announcement made by President Goodluck Jonathan on Democracy Day. Their resistance, along with that of other individuals and groups in the country have emphasized that most Nigerians are not in agreement with the President’s announcement.

What options do the students and stakeholders of University of Lagos then have? Do they just accept the new name or continue fighting against the name change? Are there any legal means they can use to oppose the name change? What next?
Please share your thoughts.

TOP 5 CELEBRITY MEN WOMEN LUST AFTER

According to Joy Bewaji, a writer for Genevieve Magazine, Chris Attoh, Peter (Psquare), Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Lynxxx, Flava N’abania are the 5 top celebrity men women lust after, even though most of my favorites hotties are not included on this list, I agreed with her to some extent, I mean these guys are gorgeous, smart, charismatic and most importantly sexy.

In no particular other, Ladies and Gentle men your top 5:

1. Chris Attoh
Chris Attoh was created on a Sunday! God took his time- moulded his nose, shaped his lips, put a sexy blush to his skin, and voila! One of the most handsome creatures on the face of the earth was made! Chris has had his hands in the entertainment pie for a while. He has worked as an OAP in Ghana’s Groove FM and Choice FM, and also on “Show Time” a TV show in Ghana. But we all know him and fell in love with him as a cast on Tinsel.
Stella Amaechi: “Chris is a stunner. There are not too many guys blessed with such hotness. He obviously chose the right path in his career. His looks will make any woman turn purple in embarrassment”

2. Peter (Psquare):
One-half of the P-square sensation is a sex symbol! Peter has a body sculpted like a god. He takes his time to look good, and it shows anytime he takes off his shirt- which he does quite often. Being so ridiculously sexy is a lot of hard work, and the ladies appreciate it!
Nneka Obi: Peter is just an amazing piece of work. There’s no better way to say it- he is hot, and he gets all the right poses in his pictures to show just how delicious his body is. And to top that, he is rich. A magical combination that works everytime!

3. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu:

Ebuka is a complete package of looks, style, brains, and finesse. The dude can be anything he wishes to be. He is vast in politics, sound in entertainment, and a lawyer, a red-carpet delight, cerebral and sharp-witted. It’s a package that comes one in a hundred men! And there’s also that sense of modesty that makes him oh-so sexy! Ebuka is the dude you want to wake up next to; every woman wants a smart guy not too far away from her!
ToluAdeolu: The good thing about Ebuka is that he has evolved. Even his writing has evolved. I used to read his articles way back, and I read the ones now and it is so mature. It is clear that the young man takes himself seriously, and I find that a huge turn-on. A smart guy with a good sense of dressing is the sexiest thing ever!

4. Lynxxx:
If Lynxxx didn’t make it to the top 5, it’ll be a crime. He is the epitome of the perfect male form. A very good looking guy- the kind of guy that you think his looks is just enough, why does he need to be brainy or talented? Now that is what makes Lynxxx an exception, his talent is just as delightful as his appearance.
Juliet Edet: Lynxxx is the kind of hotness best-selling magazines is made of! There’s no flaw to his appearance. From top to bottom he has everything in the right size. He’s every woman’s fantasy.

5. Flava N’abania:
Have you seen Flava bare-chested? Is it not the most gorgeous display ever? Flava’s music is embellished with the musician’s well-kept body- lithe, slim, with muscle contours and outlines in all the right places. He is our newest crush and we just had to show him off! His music and his beautiful abs is worth more than silver and gold.
Ijeoma Ogbu: Flava was a surprise, really. I didn’t expect he would look so good after listening to his music- which is good by the way; I just thought he’d look like a Timaya. But when I watched his video, I became a fan instantly. The guy looks really chew-able!
