Who doesn’t love celebrity love stories? We love our celebs and we love it when they find love. Okay that’s too much love in one sentence but you get the gist. Many time celebrities are seen as aliens, like they don’t face the same things human beings face so seeing them in love like “average people” is super cute. Also, it’s a known fact that many celebrity relationships fail, so it’s great to see some that are made to last.

Annie and 2Face Idibia have an epic love story! They’ve been together forever, and it’s not because things were perfect. These two show that love truly can conquer all. They met at Even Extra Studios just before Annie’s 15th birthday. She was going in and he was leaving and they met and she became his African queen. The rest is history.
2. Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs

Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs are couple goals! They’ve been married for 33 years and counting. They met in 1981 at the National Theatre and when he saw her, the first thing he said was “This is the woman I am going to marry.” And he did!
3. Banky W and Adesua Etomi

These two gave us the most epic celebrity love story of 2017. We did not see them coming at all even though they acted as a couple in “The Wedding Party.” According to Banky, he’d known Adesua since 2012 but he didn’t start paying attention till June 2015. He was smitten by her grace, aura, and beauty and started stalking her online. He eventually spoke to her and they hit it off. They got engaged in February 2017and broke down the internet when they announced it in May 2017. They got married on November 19, 2017.


4. Gbenro Ajibade and Osas Ighodaro

The couple met on Tinsel and dated for three years before getting married in 2015. Apparently, Gbenro never thought he would get married, until he met Osas. “I used to be one of those kids that never considered marriage. It wasn’t a priority in my life but she gave me a reason to re-think that,” he said.
5. Paul and Anita Okoye

The couple met at the University of Abuja in 2005. Paul was actually interested in Anita’s friend until he saw her and it was love at first sight. Apparently he told her she looked like Britney Spears and she didn’t believe him. Paul was also shocked that Anita wasn’t impressed by his celebrity status. How cute is that?
