This year’s edition of the Music Meets Runway has been described by the
organisers Le Reve Events, as the show billed to herald fresh and new
experience for all participants through the introduction of new designers and quality entertainment value.
The producer of the show Jennifer Olize gave this assurance while
speaking about the preparation for this year’s edition, adding that MMR
show will surpass every expectation this year. “I have very high
expectations for the show this year. If you enjoyed the show last year,
you are guaranteed a better experience this year. With this year’s new
additions and concept we plan to make the show more trendy, fierce and
over the top. From the designers, music artists, models and people in
attendance, MMR 2012 will surely create a greater impact this year”
Jennifer claims.
The success of the model casting held recently at the new N-Tyce Lounge
in Victoria Island was exceptional as over 2,000 models were in
attendance. It further confirmed the claims of the organizers that this
year’s edition will be trendy, fierce, and over the top. And also
establish the fact that the show has become the toast of the youths and
other fashion buffs in the last one year.
It will be recalled that the maiden was the platform the fast rising
music act Davido had his first public performance that launched his
career into limelight. The question here is who will be the next music
genius that MMR will produce this year?
However, it is important to state here that apart from entertaining
participant with music and fashion styles on display, the MMR show is
out to help promote education in Nigeria through its Music Meets Runway
Foundation.
