Manchester City’s striker Mario Baloteli became a dad when his on-off girlfriend delivered a bouncing baby girl. Raffaella Fico, 24, gave birth in Naples three weeks early while the 22-year-old Manchester City striker remained in the UK.
The baby was due on Christmas Eve but friends said both mum and baby were doing well. The baby was named Pia Fico.
In May, the couple fell out when Raffaella confronted Mario at his Cheshire home over cheating allegations. When she revealed she was pregnant, the player apparently denied paternity and demanded the baby undergo DNA tests.
Since then, the pair have made up. In October, Mario said: “I have decided to try again with Raffaella
