Don Jazzy Branches into Fashion; Set To Launch Mavin Clothing Line

 
Michael Collins popularly known as Don Jazzy is set to launch his own clothing line. He disclosed this via his twitter handle yesterday and also added that he is searching for models for the clothing line.

Chris Brown and Frank Ocean fight at Los Angeles recording studio

Chris Brown and singer Frank Ocean are alleged to have got involved in a fight on Sunday night.

Police were called after the singers were involved in an altercation over a parking space, it has been reported by TMZ.

The incident is reported to have happened when the controversial R & B star left the Westlake Recording studio in the Los Angeles area where he had been listening to one of the artists he represents.

According to TMZ, Brown went to leave the studio but 'was blocked by Frank Ocean and his crew.'

Sources told the website that Ocean said: 'This is my studio, this is my parking spot,' adding that Brown 'went to shake Ocean's hand when he was 'attacked by one of Frank's people.'

An insider connected with Brown claimed one of the singer's friends 'jumped in front and hit Frank's head.'

Ocean then 'came at Chris. Chris pushed him away and they started brawling,' sources added.

CAF dismisses Egyptian ref who officiated Nigeria vs Zambia match

Egyptian referee, Ghead Grisha, who was at the centre in the Group C match Nigeria n Zambia in Nelspruit on Friday, has been sacked from the 29th Africa Cup of Nations.

Grisha hugged the headlines on the negative side when he awarded a highly controversial penalty against the Super Eagles four minutes from time, which enabled the champions to draw level in the game at Mbombela Stadium.

“For Kanye, what other person besides Kim Kardashian is there? There’s Halle Berry, J-Lo and Beyonce but they are all taken. She fits into his brand.

Michelle Obama Wears Custom Jason Wu Gown for 2013 Inaugural

Jason Wu may have won international recognition for twice designing inaugural gowns for US first lady Michelle Obama, but judges in his native Taiwan seem unimpressed.

Taiwan’s Intellectual Property Court ruled Monday that Wu’s new label “Miss Wu” could not be registered as a brand because it was not distinctive enough.

Wu is one of only several dozen Chinese surnames and the court upheld a government trademark agency decision that “Miss Wu” was too generic, despite Wu’s claim that it conjured up the hoot of an owl, depicted on its logo.

He designed Michelle Obama’s white inaugural gown in 2008. On Monday, she appeared in another of his creations, a shiny red gown with a halter top.

Wu was born in Taiwan before moving to Canada at age 9.

Oprah believes disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong can be a 'hero again'

Oprah Winfrey believes Lance Armstrong can be a hero again.

And she thinks people will be willing to forgive him.

Winfrey said Monday that the hardest thing Armstrong has done in his life is confess in an interview with her last week that he used performance-enhancing drugs to win his seven Tour de France titles.

“If he is willing to do the work … he can be a real hero,” Winfrey said during a lecture in Edmonton, the first stop on a speaking tour through Western Canada.

She said Armstrong’s fall from grace is so huge, it means a lot that he has finally come clean. But he also needs to realize his life is not just about a bike, races or a big mistake.

“Everybody has the ability within them to rise again. What really matters in the world is what kind of human being he chooses to be.”

Billed as “An Evening with Oprah,” Winfrey easily switched between motivational speaker and stand-up comic. She had the crowd of about 15,000 laughing, gasping and nodding their heads.

You could see Genevieve’s unguarded disposition, Rita Dominic’s lively demeanor (loved it!) and Ramsey Nouah’s cool look. Those glasses really do look good on him.

Ibinabo must really feel blessed to have such supportive and loving friends. They all feel like a family, don’t you think?
